
Green Detox Juice
A delicious and healthy detox juice, perfect to help boost your liver's detoxification pathways and enabling improved clearance of excess hormones.
Ingredients
- 100g (3.5oz) organic spinach
- 50g dandelion greens
- 2 large celery stalks (you can include the leaves)
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 thumb size piece of ginger
- 400g (14.1oz) filtered water
- Optional: 1 tbsp green powder/ spirulina / chlorella/ barley greens
- 1 large green / Granny Smith apple
Instructions
- Place the spinach and dandelion greens into a blender, add sliced celery and apple, add the ginger (with skin), lemon juice and water blend until smooth.
- Makes 4 small or 2 large juices.
Notes
This is a great way to increase your daily vegetable intake, especially if you need to increase your daily greens. Please try to use organic produce, otherwise you are increasing your exposure to pesticide and other chemicals, defeating the purpose, especially since green leafy vegetables absorb a high amount of pesticides.
