Try this delicious and easy to make keto & paleo-friendly gluten-free bread for guilt-free low-carb options.
Ingredients
- 200g (7oz or 2 cups) almond flour
- 5 large eggs, whisked
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp Celtic/sea salt
- 1 tsp psyllium husk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees fan
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Add the whisked eggs, vinegar and oil and mix well
- Place baking paper into a bread tin
- Pour the dough into the bread tin and bake for 30 minutes (or insert a knife, and if it comes out clean, the bread is ready).
Notes
This is a super easy, healthy gluten-free paleo bread that can be whisked together. With only 1.6g of net carbs per slice, it's also perfect for anyone following a keto diet. One slice also contains 8.4g of protein, so suitable for weight-loss programs or vegetarians trying to increase their protein intake.
