
Smoked Salmon & Avocado Salad
Delicious and nutritious smoked salmon salad that is suitable for keto/ low-carb/ paleo or gluten-free diets and is packed with protein.
Ingredients
- 80g (2.8oz) smoked salmon
- 2 cups aragula/ rocket
- 80g (2.8oz) cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 4 large capers/ 1 tbsp capers
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Arrange all the ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Notes
This salad can easily be prepared at work or taken with prepared. Smoked salmon is high in omega 3 fatty acids which help protect the cardiovascular system, reduce inflammation and are important for the nervous system. Can be served with a seed cracker or keto almond gluten-free/sourdough bread. Capers are high in quercetin, a natural anti-histamine that also helps support the immune and cardiovascular system.
