An easy recipe for oven-baked sweet potato fries that are healthier than traditional fries or store-bought prepackaged versions.
Ingredients
- 500g (1.1 lb or 3.8 cups) sweet potato, sliced
- 30g (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 230C/ 446F (fan setting)
- In a bowl, mix the fries with the oil and salt, making sure you coat the fries well.
- Arrange on a baking paper in an oven tray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning the fries halfway through. Keep an eye out that they do not burn.
- Serve with truffle mayo and grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
This is a tasty, healthier version to traditional deep fried potato fries or store-bought fries that are laden with artificial ingredients. This is a perfect side to home-made burgers or any other meat dishes.
