A delicious and super nutritious, protein-packed smoothie made out of antioxidant-rich dragonfruit powder, berries and walnuts

Ingredients

  • 80g (⅔ cup) walnuts
  • 180g (1½ cups) strawberries/ raspberries/ blueberries
  • 300g (1¼ cups) filtered water
  • 2 tbsp vegan protein powder
  • 2 tbsp pitaya/ dragonfruit powder

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend well.

Notes

This smoothie can be enjoyed for breakfast or as an in between snack to increase your fruit and vegetable intake along with healthy omega 3 fatty acids and protein. PItaya powder is rich in antioxidants called betalains which are cardio-protective, help protect against cancer and along with omega 3 from the walnuts and other antioxidants from the berries, helps reduce inflammation.
