Notes

This bowl contains 23g of protein, which is vital to balance your blood-sugar, cortisol levels and keep you satiated until lunch. The flax seeds and bee pollen are packed with lignans and isoflavones, which are phytoestrogens that can attach to the oestrogen receptors in the body, which helps balance hormones, alleviating symptoms of menopause and PMS. Spirulina contains antioxidants such as chlorophyll that boosts liver detox of hormone byproducts. This can be used in the seed-cycling protocol during the first two weeks of the cycle, which is the follicular phase, during which oestrogen is produced. Pumpkin seeds and flax seeds contain zinc which helps with hormone production.
