A delicious & fresh pesto recipe that is so easy to whip up and can be used for making sandwiches, Caprese salad or Italian pasta dishes.

Ingredients

  • 30g or 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 100g or 1 cup parmesan, cubed
  • A pinch of sea salt/ Celtic salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Blend the basil, garlic, parmesan and salt well, then add the olive oil and blend very briefly just to mix (otherwise the sauce can become quite bitter).

Notes

I find things always taste better fresh, and this is especially true for this delicious pesto recipe, that can be made and stored in the fridge and used again later for brushetta or pasta dishes.
