A delicious, nutritious, fresh and healthy Greek salad recipe that is full of vitamin C and healthy monounsaturated fat.
Ingredients
- 400g (14.1 oz or 2½ cups) cherry tomatoes, sliced
- ½ red onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dried origanum
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- 80g (2.8 ounces or ½ cup) feta
- 10 Kalamata olives, pitted
Instructions
- In a bowl, arrange all the ingredients, drizzle with olive oil, vinegar, origanum, salt and pepper, stir well and serve.
Notes
This is a super tasty salad that can be served on its own or as a side in barbecues or as part of a Greek dinner.
Make sure that you use a good quality Mediterranean (Greek or Italian) white wine vinegar which is naturally sweeter.
