A delicious, nutritious, fresh and healthy Greek salad recipe that is full of vitamin C and healthy monounsaturated fat.

Ingredients

  • 400g (14.1 oz or 2½ cups) cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried origanum
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 80g (2.8 ounces or ½ cup) feta
  • 10 Kalamata olives, pitted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, arrange all the ingredients, drizzle with olive oil, vinegar, origanum, salt and pepper, stir well and serve.

Notes

This is a super tasty salad that can be served on its own or as a side in barbecues or as part of a Greek dinner.

Make sure that you use a good quality Mediterranean (Greek or Italian) white wine vinegar which is naturally sweeter.
