A nourishing blend of creamy probiotic-packed Greek yogurt, granola & seeds topped with naturally sweet figs & antioxidant blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 100g (5.3 oz or ⅔ cup) Greek yoghurt
  • 2 small figs
  • 60g (2.1 oz or ½ cup) blueberries
  • 2 tbsp low-sugar granola
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak the granola and seeds overnight in yoghurt and top with fruit the next morning and enjoy.

Notes

Soaking the granola and seeds overnight will help to deactivate phytates, which act as anti-nutrients, which bind to minerals and prevent their uptake. Soaking also helps to predigest the seeds & oats for people who have a sensitive gut. The bowl is loaded with beneficial probiotics which help boost gut health, and this, alongside the healthy omega 3 fats from the seeds, phyto-oestrogens from the seeds and figs and antioxidants from the blueberries, makes a delicious breakfast bowl that can help balance female hormones and lower inflammation.
